I first came to Blaketown School as a student-teacher. A few years later I returned to the West Coast and spent a year doing half days to release a teacher for reading recovery. A huge part of my career has been committed to Blaketown School and its students. I am proud to be a Coaster, passionate about Blaketown School and love working here with our creative and caring tamariki. Our school is special because of its size, fabulous outdoor environment and proximity to the sea.

I am loving my role here at Blaketown school as a teacher aide in the junior classes. I am currently near completion of my level 4 NZ certificate in Eduactional Support. As an ex Blaketown student it is very rewarding to be back here and I love working with the students and being part of their learning journey helping them learn in a positive and supportive environment. In my spare time you will find me at the beach, the speedway track, or at home with my family. I look forward to enhancing my career at Blaketown School.
