It is exciting for both parents and students when starting school, particularly in the case of a five-year-old, who is starting for the first time. We appreciate that this is a critical time for a child as this first impression of school can often be a lasting one. We have developed a transition programme which has proven highly effective in making the first day at school a stress-free, stimulating occasion.
Parents wishing to enrol their child may do so any time prior to the child starting school. Our Office Administrator and Principal will help you with this. You will be given a letter advising of pre-school visits to the child's class. Parents join their child for some of this time. The visits are an important part of the transition process where the children make connections with both the other students and the teacher as well as the classroom environment.
The enrolement form is an important document to the school as it covers a lot of essential information. If your child is due to turn 5, we require a copy of their birth certificate and immunisation record.
