We are very grateful for all the support and opportunities that Scholastic/Duffy provide Blaketown School. Scholastic believes that every child should have the opportunity to read at home, that's why every child receives a book of their choice three times a year. Duffy also brings shows and inspirational speakers in to present the books.
Thank you to Westpac who also work alongside Duffy/Scholastic making sure every child has a book to read.
Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health provides every child with a piece of fresh fruit every school day. The children enjoy this fruit while listening to the class Teacher reading a story at read and feed time just before morning tea.
KickStart Breakfast
Provides kai and guidance to Blaketown School so we are able to run a successful breakfast club. Thank you to their partners Sanitarium, Fonterra and the Ministry of Social Development.
